You can also do:
Click “Start”
Click “Run”
Type “shutdown /i” and click Open
Use 127.0.0.1 as the Computer and select restart.

Works on XP also.

Start > Run > ‘shutdown -r’ or ‘shutdown -s’ works a treat too.
